Reporting Time Pay

Under certain circumstances, a non-exempt employee may be entitled to partial daily compensation (i.e., reporting time pay) for having reported to work, but either not being put to work at all or sent home prior to completing half of his/her usual or scheduled workday. An employee entitled to reporting time pay may receive half a day's pay (up to a maximum of four hours), but in no event less than two hours.

There may be additional limitations to the availability of reporting time pay in a given situation. For a more detailed evaluation of your rights to reporting time pay, please contact Duvel & Duvel, PLC.
