IF I PLACE MY HOME INTO MY TRUST, WILL IT EFFECT MY MORTAGE OR MY PROPERTY TAXES?
No. Transferring your home into your Trust will have no effect on your mortgage. You will also still be able to deduct your mortgage interest from your taxes because your living Trust will have no effect on your income tax.
Additionally, a Trust will not impact your property taxes either. You will continue to pay your income tax as you normally do and the amount will not change as transferring your property into your Trust is not a taxable event.
